题目1: Isometry groups of compact manifolds with indefinite metric II
摘要：Part II focuses on isometry groups of compact homogeneous manifolds with an invariant indefinite metric. If the index of the metric is small, we explain that a complete classification of such manifolds is possible. We will also introduce the basic result that every compact homogeneous space with a transitive solvable group of isometries is isometric to a quotient of a solvable Lie group with a biinvariant metric. The proof of the latter result relies on a combination of density properties for uniform subgroups of solvable Lie groups and the reduction theory of metric Lie groups.
